Online Studies

Online-Studies

Creativity, autonomy, dialogical work and mutual concern are fundamental factors for the Special Online Course, 'Goetheanum Anthroposophy Studies'. Having learned from the COVID-19 crisis and also wishing to reach out to you under these special circumstances, we designed this new online course aimed at a globalaudience. The interactive study work takes place in separate groups in German, English, French, Portuguese/Spanish.

The joint courses are in English.

Content

Anthroposophy is a path of understanding the human being and the world. It is a way of practising participation in the sphere of the living, embracing life.

Rudolf Steiner's work is informed by a transformative potential that wishes to contribute to a more humane future. In his artistic, literary or architectural works, in his social reform or cultural renewal work it is the creative activity of thinking and the participation of the individual that shapes reality.

Languages

The synchronous study formats of art and study work in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish are shown at a time, that allows participation in many countries of the world simultaneously. The asynchronous study formats of short talks and longer lectures by Goetheanum Section Leaders and Co-workers in English allow insight into current research findings and their contribution to contemporary challenges, whenever this fits into your day. Guided tours on the Goetheanum Campus and a weekly Colloquium with all participants allows special forms of meeting at the Goetheanum and encountering each other, exchanging questions and insights.

Through this we hope to create a cross-cultural and intergenerational experience. Using digital media in the best possible ways, we are committed to creating transformative spaces of encounter, dialogue and insights.
